Montana Rebrand
In this project, I reimagined Montana through a bold new seal and logo; Using a meaningful design and colors to express the state’s mountainous beauty and identity.
Logo
The logo centers on a grizzly bear claw (Montana’s state animal) with a mountain embedded in the palm, symbolizing how nature is deeply woven into Montana’s identity.
Branding
Using icons and imagery inspired by popular animals native to the areas surrounding Montana, these patterns and business cards are designed to capture the identity of the state and the connection it has to wildlife.
Seal
The seal builds on the logo while adding details and refinements. A flowing stream represents Montana’s valleys and expansive landscapes, meanwhile the Bitterroot flower (Montana’s state flower) helps frames the typography and grounds the design.
